Low Voltage Technician

We are a locally owned and operated- network, security, and fire alarm company in Fond du Lac, seeking a motivated individual to join our team. We specialize in residential and commercial network IT systems, fire alarm, security systems, including intrusion alarms, surveillance systems, and door access control

Position: Full-Time
Location: Fond du Lac, WI

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. ($20.00 - $40.00 per hour) Negotiable based experienced

Responsibilities:

Install, service, and troubleshoot alarm systems, surveillance systems, door access control and fire alarm systems servicing the Fox Valley area

Install wiring, mount equipment, and configure systems for optimal performance.

Install and terminate Category 5, 5e, and 6 wiring and components for business networks

Install Access Control, Security, and Surveillance wiring and hardware

Install Fire Alarm Systems wiring and equipment for fire alarm and sprinkler monitoring

Assist with programming of fire alarm, security, access control and video surveillance systems. (Training provided)

Assist with service on alarm, access control and video surveillance systems.

Maintain detailed documentation of installations and service calls.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a plus.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a structured team environment or independently as needed

Valid driver’s license

Must pass background check

Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical ability to lift and install heavy equipment occasionally

Good time management and organizational skills
