Low Voltage Technician

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including but not limited to CCTV and access control systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards, such as the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Requirements

• Experience working with low voltage systems and hand tools.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and system design principles.
• Familiarity with CCTV, fire alarm, and access control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certification or training in low voltage systems is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in alarm system sales is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
