Low Voltage Technician

Gravity AV is a high-end AV and low-voltage contractor serving Orange County and Los Angeles. For 18 years we've built custom smart home systems for discerning clients — and we've built a reputation for doing it right. We're growing fast and looking for a low voltage AV Technician who's eager to learn the trade and build a career with a team that has high standards.

What You'll Do

• Work alongside our lead technicians on residential and commercial job sites, learning every phase of installation: rough-in, trim, and finish.
• Pull, run, and label low-voltage cabling including HDMI, Cat6, speaker wire, and control wiring.
• Learn to terminate and test cable to Gravity AV standards.
• Help mount displays, speakers, and equipment, and assist with rack builds and system hookups.
• Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials, and keep job sites clean and safe.
• Support troubleshooting and service calls as your skills grow.
• Represent Gravity AV professionally with clients and builders on every job.

What You Bring

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
• Basic hand-tool skills and comfort with hands-on work.
• Interest in AV, technology, electrical, or construction.
• Ability to work on ladders and in attics and crawlspaces, and to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
• Attention to detail and pride in doing clean work.
