Our low voltage field technicians play a pivotal role in our success as they are the onsite representatives for the company. The knowledge of fire alarm and/or security systems is definitely a plus, but is not necessarily required – these are skills that we can train a person with the right attitude and desire. An aptitude for learning how things work, electrical/electronic systems, software systems, learning quickly, have a drive to succeed and prove yourself, enjoying the process of find solutions to customer problems and wanting to be out there in and amongst our customers will promote the success in this position.

Providing service, maintenance, updates, and repair to these systems is very important to the life cycle of the building and assures protection of the building’s occupants. The person employed for this position will be able to much pride in their work knowing that their work save lives – because it is life safety and security, attention to all the details is of utmost importance: fully commissioning systems onsite, testing the system/ accurately documenting the process, filling paperwork timely, and including the technician’s valuable notes on inconsistencies/ deficiencies, and the ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ of the system. What’s more – the technicians work results drive revenue and customer relations.
