What they need

Who We Are

Cable Communications Inc. (CCI) is a family-owned business that's been installing low-voltage systems across Ohio for almost three decades. Our work covers structured cabling, access control, security cameras, AV, paging, and Vision/Edge AI. We're a small, tight-knit crew, and as the company grows, we're looking to bring on people who want to grow with it.

The Job

We need a hands-on technician for our field team, working on structured cabling and access control installs and service calls. Whether you've got some background in low voltage, electrical, or construction, or you're brand new to the trade but bring the right work ethic, we'll train you up either way. This isn't a dead-end position — how far and how fast you advance is up to you. Show us you're ready and there's a real path forward.

Responsibilities

  • Run cable and fiber optics, including pathway installation
  • Install and maintain access control systems
  • Handle troubleshooting and service calls, building toward doing this on your own
  • Support installation projects to meet our quality standards
  • Read floorplans, blueprints, specs, and cut sheets
  • Pick up the materials and techniques used in structured cabling work
  • Stick to safety protocols and site-specific rules for our company and clients
  • Log time, materials, and job details accurately, both digitally and on paper
  • Show up looking and acting like a professional on every site

Hours & Travel

  • Full-time, 40+ hours weekly, scheduled anywhere Monday through Sunday
  • Some overnight travel required, capped at three weeks per trip
  • Weekend hours during travel pay out at time-and-a-half

What You Bring

  • Background in structured cabling, electrical work, or construction is a plus but not mandatory
  • Willingness to work at heights and use aerial lifts (training available)
  • Solid communicator who can also work solo when needed
  • Driving record clean enough to meet our insurance standards
  • Your own basic hand tools, or the willingness to get them

What You Get

  • Company vehicle, gas card, credit card, and phone
  • Real advancement opportunities as we expand — we hire from within and back the people who put in the effort

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
