About HPSI
High Point Systems Integration is a veteran-owned security and low-voltage integrator based in Sheridan, Colorado. We design, install, and service access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion alarm, structured cabling, and network systems for commercial, municipal, and federal customers across the Denver metro and Front Range. Our work includes new construction as a subcontractor to general contractors, service and upgrades for existing customers, and federal facility projects. We are a small, growing company — you will work directly with the owner and lead technicians, not through layers of management.

What you'll do

• Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cable (Cat6/6A, fiber, coax, control wire)
• Install cameras, card readers, door hardware, alarm sensors, network switches, and NVRs
• Mount and rough-in devices, boxes, conduit, and cable pathways on active construction sites
• Assist with system programming, commissioning, and customer walkthroughs
• Keep job sites clean, document work with photos and as-builts, and follow the job safety plan
• Drive to job sites across the Denver metro; occasional travel to Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and out-of-state federal sites

What we're looking for

• No low-voltage experience required — we train. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn matter more than a résumé
• Valid Colorado driver's license and a clean driving record (you will drive company vehicles)
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (required for our government and federal-facility work)
• Comfortable working on ladders and lifts, in ceilings, and in mechanical rooms; able to lift 50 lbs
• Reliable, on time, and able to follow written instructions and drawings
• High school diploma or GED

Nice to have

• Any cabling, electrical, AV, IT, or construction experience
• Military service (we're an SDVOSB and we value it)
• Familiarity with Axis, Verkada, Avigilon, or Hanwha video systems, or any access control platform
• OSHA 10, BICSI Installer 1, or aerial lift certification

Pay and benefits

• $[21.00] – $[26.00] per hour, depending on experience, paid weekly
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
