We are currently seeking a Lowboy Tractor & Trailer Driver - should be confortable driving tractor trailer as well as single axel / 6 axel. CDL A required! Manual endorsement a must.

Responsibilities

• Be able to operate heavy equipment well enough to load and unload from trailer.
• Be able to tie/chain down loads correctly - i.e. 6 point / 4 point .
• Ensure proper weight distribution and securing loads.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
• No day is the same. Be comfortable changing on the fly.
• Report to the fleet manager.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license required
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with pulling equipment.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Familiarity with various trailer types
• Familiarity with loading and strapping down equipment a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $38.00 per hour
