Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Homeroom Teachers for Lower Primary. The successful candidates will teach English (Reading and Writing), Maths, Science, History, and Geography, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with Cambridge International and UK curriculum standards.

This role requires a teacher who can build strong relationships with students and parents while maintaining high academic expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in:

  • English (Reading & Writing)
  • Maths (Singapore Maths approach)
  • Science
  • History
  • Geography

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

• Develop engaging, well-sequenced schemes of work

• Promote critical thinking, creativity, and independence

• Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive classroom environment

• Build strong communication with parents

• Contribute to school events and wider school life

Assessment & Reporting

• Monitor and track student progress
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Complete termly reports
• Maintain assessment records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching primary level
• Knowledge of Cambridge Curriculum and/or UK National Curriculum
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• Understanding of Singapore Maths approach
