Business Information
We are looking for a keen individual to join our engineering team. This is a full-time permanent role and a great opportunity to join our team. Our benefits package is better than others, and we work hard – but play harder than most!
Northern Energy is a family-friendly company based in Hampsthwaite, a small village just outside of Harrogate. We aim to serve local communities across England with domestic and commercial LPG. In addition, we offer various services which complement our business. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and being the best in terms of service and delivery.
Role Objectives:
Working within the LPG Engineering Team, installing our LPG tanks and carrying out any maintenance and repairs required on them. The work is predominantly outside, installing, moving, and uplifting LPG tanks, not internal boiler repairs or servicing. You would need to have a full understanding of the Gas safety legislation.
An average day for our Gas Engineer could be installing a gas tank and associated pipework at a customer’s premises or relocating an existing gas tank and altering the pipework accordingly. We also carry out regulator replacements and attend gas leaks where necessary. The work can be physically demanding at times, so you would need to be prepared to undertake this.
Personal Requirements:
