To qualify, you must be a state licensed LPN. A minimum of one (1) year of previous orthopedic nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities: LPN will assist the Physician, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistants in various aspects of patients’ medical treatment and care. LPN will maintain the exam rooms and equipment and ensure the orderly flow of the physician’s patient schedule.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting area to the exam room; prepares patient for their examination or treatment; obtains pertinent medical information from patient
• Assist physician in the removal & application of casts, change dressings, remove staples & sutures, & ultrasound machines
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms; maintain clean treatment areas and exam rooms
• Responds to & triages incoming telephone calls; instructs patient and family regarding treatment
• Performs patient education when appropriate
• Replenish supplies in stock rooms and pharmaceutical supplies and samples as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality; adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Keep medical records in accordance with procedures and forms

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $30 – $33.50 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, as well as benefits. Eligible full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.50 per hour
