LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - PRN

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities:

• Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
• Assist with procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, and catheter insertion
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Valid LPN license in Louisiana
• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and aseptic technique
• Familiarity with neonatal ventilators, critical care, pediatrics, and spinal tap procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Shift: all shifts (Day, Evening, Night) - Weekends Only OR Weekend special
