LPN Needed ($3 / hour)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN LPN TO WORK EVERY MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY FROM 10AM-5PM WITH A LOVELY FEMALE CLIENT

Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories.
• Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Manage complex care needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, pain management, and acute pain control.
• Assist with specialized procedures including catheterization, sterile processing, wound suturing, and tube feeding.
• Document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with diverse needs including geriatrics, pediatrics, ICU patients, and those requiring hospice or infectious disease care.
• Provide patient education on medication administration, health coaching, discharge planning, and post-acute care instructions.

Skills

• Proven experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems), particularly Epic or Athenahealth platforms.
• Strong background in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency room, or Level I Trauma Centers.
• Expertise in managing complex cases involving ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, and documentation standards.
• Knowledge of advanced nursing skills including ventilator management, airway management, IV insertion/infusion techniques, and sterile technique.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs; familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver communication and client interaction across diverse populations.
• Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately; proficient in vital signs monitoring and specimen collection/processing.
