LTC Technician

Job Overview
CureMed Pharmacy is looking for an organized LTC (Long-Term Care) Pharmacy Technician to support our service to nursing homes, assisted living, and group home facilities. This role focuses on multi-dose packaging, cycle fills, and accurate facility order processing. If your experience is only in retail and you have never worked with facility orders or blister/multi-dose packaging, this role is not the right fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process new orders and refills from long-term care facilities
• Prepare monthly cycle fills and multi-dose/blister packaging
• Operate and maintain automated packaging equipment
• Coordinate with facility nurses on orders, changes, and discontinuations
• Prepare medication carts and deliveries with accurate manifests
• Track controlled substance counts and documentation
• Resolve insurance rejections and prior authorizations
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA)

Required Qualifications (hard minimums)

• Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician registration
• Minimum 2 years of long-term care pharmacy experience
• Experience with blister or multi-dose packaging
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet fill deadlines
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

• PTCB or NHA certification (CPhT)
• Experience with automated packaging machines
• Familiarity with eMAR systems and facility communication
