Lube Technician

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services with efficiency, accuracy, and a high level of customer satisfaction. This entry-level role supports the service department by completing routine oil changes, inspections, and light maintenance while maintaining dealership quality standards.

JOB TITLE: Lube Technician
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
LOCATION: Cincinnati, OH

A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors
Check and top off vehicle fluids including transmission, coolant, brake, and windshield washer fluids
Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate tires as needed
Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and bulbs
Conduct battery testing and replacement when necessary
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
Accurately document services performed and report any additional repair needs
Support other technicians as needed with general shop duties
WE’RE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous automotive experience or technical training is a plus but not required
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and systems preferred
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicl
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
