Lucky H Buffet Server Part Time AM

Job Summary

The Lucky H Buffet Server is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and attentive service to guests in a fast paced buffet environment. This position ensures guests have an enjoyable dining experience by maintaining clean and organized dining areas, assisting with guest needs, clearing and resetting tables, and supporting the overall operation of the buffet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Assist guests with seating and provide information about buffet offerings as needed.
• Monitor dining areas and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Clear dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables throughout service.
• Clean and reset tables promptly to prepare for incoming guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and assigned workspaces.
• Refill water and other beverages and provide additional items as requested.
• Communicate guest concerns, special requests, and service issues to the appropriate team members.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow servers, and management to ensure smooth buffet operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous food service or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move dishes, trays, and other service items as needed.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent guest service.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a busy buffet and dining environment, requiring frequent interaction with guests and team members, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to maintain efficient service during peak dining hours.
