Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines such as saws, molders, and other cutting tools to shape and prepare wood materials according to specifications.
• Using tools like calipers, tape measures, and other precision measurement devices to ensure accuracy.
• Follow strict safety protocols in all aspects of machine operation, material handling, and workplace conduct to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain detailed records of production activities, measurements, and quality checks to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating woodworking machines, saws, molders, and power tools with an emphasis on precision measurement in machining.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to handle material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of hand tools, power tools, and safety gear.
• Familiarity with sawmill production processes, woodworking techniques, and millwork specifications.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to cutting dimensions, and quality control checks.

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
