Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Lunch Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper processing of sales transactions.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating beverage service expertise.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, process payments accurately, and give correct change while maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary needs, or special requests with professionalism.
• Support team members with guest services such as hosting or cashiering during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is required; fine dining experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage pairing enhances guest interactions.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential.
• Customer service skills that demonstrate patience, attentiveness, and proactive communication.
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Hospitality background with experience in serving or bussing tables ensures seamless guest experiences.

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
