Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lunch Supervisor to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will oversee the lunchtime experience, ensuring children enjoy a safe, positive, and engaging environment during their midday break. Your enthusiasm and attentiveness will foster a cheerful atmosphere while maintaining safety and order. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young children's daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime, encouraging good manners and social interaction
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children while they eat and play
• Assist with serving meals and snacks, promoting healthy eating habits
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas and surrounding spaces
• Support children with their individual needs, including those requiring additional care or attention
• Promote positive behavior through gentle guidance and encouragement
• Collaborate with team members to create a smooth transition between activities

Skills

• Experience in childcare, teaching, nannying, or similar roles involving young children
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare settings
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude towards engaging with children
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs throughout the day

Pay: £8,522.00-£9,000.00 per year
