Lux Coordinator

About the role

The Lux Coordinator is responsible for planning, executing, and validating lighting simulations to support product development, compliance, and client solutions. This role ensures accurate lux-level modelling, photometric analysis, and alignment between simulated results and manufactured lighting products. The coordinator works closely with Production Development, Marketing, and Production teams to deliver reliable lighting performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lighting and lux-level simulations for indoor and outdoor lighting applications
• Create and analyse photometric studies using industry-standard lighting software
• Validate simulation results against physical testing and laboratory measurements
• Support product development by providing lighting performance data and recommendations
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and simulation documentation for internal and client use
• Support sales and project teams with customized lighting simulations and proposals
• Ensure simulations comply with relevant lighting standards and regulations (IES, CIE, EN, etc.)
• Maintain databases of photometric files, simulation templates, and test results
• Assist in continuous improvement of simulation accuracy and workflow efficiency
• Provide photometric data for product development, design, OEM products, and catalogues

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of LED Technology and Drivers
• Familiarity with lighting compliance and certification processes
• AutoCAD, DIALUX, or AGI32 experience
• Ability to analyse problems and propose solutions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
