MAC MANAGER

About the role

This role involves comprehensive financial management across loans, banking relationships, cash flow, and financial reporting for construction companies. You will manage outstanding loans and credit lines, maintain bank relationships and credit line renewals, prepare accurate bank reconciliations and cash flow reports, and produce complete financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses. The position requires coordination across multiple departments and regular reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Update and submit outstanding loans and available credit line to the President every Monday
• Monitor monthly loan payment projections and ensure timely settlement of loans and interest
• Ensure timely and effective renewal of bank credit lines and maintain coordination with account officers
• Ensure bank account balances are at or above the required maintaining balance at any given time
• Prepare accurate and timely bank reconciliation and obtain updated summary of funding on a weekly basis
• Update passbook daily and record interest income, withholding taxes, debit memos and credit memos
• Reconcile variances between book balance and bank balance and identify and correct errors
• Report cash position to President every Monday prior to weekly funding
• Monitor collections on projects and coordinate with billing and collection team on collection status
• Prepare complete financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow for assigned companies
• Prepare detailed cash flow analysis and income statement with identification of financial ratios and performance measures
• Perform profitability analysis on projects and companies on a periodic basis in coordination with project accountant
• Perform investment analysis on new projects and potential business opportunities
• Identify potential points for improvement and recommend operational controls to improve accuracy and reliability of financial records

About you

• BS Accountancy graduate with CPA certification
• At least 8 to 10 years meaningful work experience in accounting and/or auditing
• Managerial experience required
