MACHINE/ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE [DUNMURRY (BV_MAO-0926)]

We at Brook Design Hardware are seeking to recruit a reliable and detail-oriented Machine/Assembly Operative to join our ventilation team in Dunmurry. In this role you will be responsible for the efficient operation of saws and punching presses plus assembly of components to produce ventilation products in accordance with technical drawings, instructions and established quality standards.

To be considered you should be able to demonstrate the following:

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Previous experience setting and operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 6 month’s experience working on an assembly or production line including conducting product quality checks
• Numerate & literate supported by (GCSE level or equivalent) in Mathematics and English
• Practical experience operating hand or power tools safely
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow instructions provided verbally, in writing, or via drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven track record of working independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Flexible approach to work including a willingness to train and work in various sections of the assembly line
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements in the workplace.
