Machine Builder/Assembler

We are looking for a skilled Machine Builder to join our custom equipment job shop specializing in heavy-duty industrial furnaces. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly, fitting, and integration of custom machinery and ancillary equipment from the ground up. Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Assembly: Assemble custom industrial furnaces and related ancillary equipment from mechanical drawings, layouts, and assembly instructions.
• Fluid & Gas Systems: Fit and route hoses, tubing, and piping for complex fluid, gas, and cooling systems.
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Install, plumb, and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, valves, and actuators.
• Blueprint Reading: Accurately read and interpret mechanical blueprints, assembly drawings, and schematics.
• Shop Tool Operation: Utilize a variety of shop hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment to fabricate, fit, and align mechanical components.
• Quality & Integration: Work alongside engineering and electrical teams to ensure mechanical assemblies meet tight tolerances, safety standards, and operational requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical assembly, machine building, or industrial manufacturing.
• Proven experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid/hose fitting.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Highly proficient with a wide variety of shop hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work in a hands-on job shop environment, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
