Machine Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial machines, mechanical equipment, and components.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Create assembly drawings, manufacturing drawings, and detailed component drawings.
• Select appropriate materials, mechanical components, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and other machine elements.
• Perform basic engineering calculations, including load, torque, and power calculations.
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, assembly, and quality teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Modify existing machine designs according to customer requirements.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot design-related problems during manufacturing and machine assembly.
• Ensure designs meet safety requirements, manufacturing standards, and project specifications.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D modelling software.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX, Inventor, or other 3D CAD software.
• Knowledge of machine design, mechanical components, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and fits.
• Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
