Machine Engineer

About the role

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, improving, and supporting production machinery to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The role also supports machine installation, testing, preventive maintenance improvement, technical documentation, supplier coordination, and engineering projects involving automation, IoT, data analysis, and Smart Factory development.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and machine-related problems in production equipment.
• Improve machines, tools, and equipment to meet production, quality, safety, and performance requirements.
• Support preventive maintenance and Special PM activities, including improvement of maintenance standards and plans.
• Define work procedures and provide technical guidance to production and maintenance teams.
• Support machine installation, commissioning, functional testing, and capability verification.
• Analyze machine performance data and implement corrective and preventive improvements.
• Prepare machine specifications, support purchasing activities, and follow up with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers for machine modification, repair, installation, and engineering projects.
• Prepare technical reports, test records, drawings, manuals, and other machine-related documentation.
• Support automation, IoT, data utilization, and Smart Factory improvement projects.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

• 0–3 years of experience in maintenance, automation, or manufacturing; new graduates are welcome.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, pneumatics, vacuum systems, PLCs, and basic statistics.

• Ability to read and interpret machine drawings, electrical/mechanical diagrams, specifications, and technical manuals.

• Strong problem-solving, machine troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Able to coordinate with suppliers and work off-site when required.

• Proficiency in English or Chinese is an advantage.

• Project management skills.

TOEIC score of 500 or above.
