Machine Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enhance the performance of manufacturing equipment to boost reliability and productivity.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts on complex equipment issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive measures.
• Plan, execute, and oversee engineering improvement projects aimed at enhancing manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment availability.
• Support the installation of new equipment, machine qualification, process validation, and production ramp-up processes.
• Conduct root cause analyses using structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA).
• Analyze production and equipment data to uncover trends and propose engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Facilities, and R&D to resolve technical issues and enhance manufacturing processes.
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, technical reports, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, environmental standards, and engineering practices.
• Engage in automation and digitalization projects to advance manufacturing capabilities.
• Mentor technicians and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, automation, and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, robotics, servo systems, and industrial automation is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and engineering data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working effectively in teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
• Availability to work on rotating shifts as required for operational support.
