About the role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Machine Operator to join our manufacturing operation in Woolston. This role operates on a fixed 4-night shift pattern between Monday and Friday.  As part of our production team, you’ll be responsible for safely producing quality products and supporting the smooth efficient operation of our manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment.

·         Monitoring machine performance and product quality.

·         Carrying out routine checks and identifying production issues.

·         Making machine adjustments and basic trouble shooting.

·         Completing production records and documentation accurately.

·         Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll get

• 4 day week, means a 3 day weekend every week
• PM shift: 4pm start, 2x12hrs & 2x10 hours shifts -Plus night shift allowance of almost $30.

What we need from you

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience — any previous Silicone, mill or plastics extrusion experience will be an advantage.
• Reliable, organised and switched on
• Willing to learn, take direction and back yourself to improve
• A genuine commitment to Health & Safety
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Practical problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• A willingness to contribute to continuous improvement and support a culture of ongoing improvement.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy production environment
