About the role

The Printing Machine Leader is responsible for overseeing the operation of printing machines, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved. The role includes leading machine operators, troubleshooting production issues, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring efficient utilization of materials and manpower. Preferrable printing machine: Flexo, KBA 6+1 or Litho 7+1

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise printing machine operators to ensure smooth daily production operations.
• Set up, operate, and monitor printing machines according to production schedules and specifications.
• Ensure product quality meets customer requirements and company standards.
• Perform process checks and monitor print quality throughout production runs.
• Troubleshoot machine and production issues and coordinate with the maintenance team when necessary.
• Monitor machine efficiency, waste levels, downtime, and productivity.
• Ensure proper use of raw materials and minimize production waste.
• Train and guide operators on machine operation, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Verify production records, machine logs, and quality documentation are accurately completed.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality Control, and Maintenance departments to achieve production objectives.

About you

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in printing, packaging, or manufacturing operations.
• At least 1-2 years of supervisory or team leader experience.
• Strong knowledge of printing processes, machine settings, and quality control requirements.
• Ability to read and understand production specifications and technical documents.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership ability with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
