Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Choose the appropriate machine learning algorithm and complete the training and validation of generic models according to the application scenario in intelligent transportation projects; design traditional signal processing or image processing algorithms that meet design considerations; be responsible for the construction, development, optimization, and test of algorithm models and provide assistance in the final integration and deployment of them.

2. Participate in the overall solution design for the projects, conduct research and development of core functions of the projects, participate in the writing of the product and project documentations such as technical reports.

3. Collaborate with other enterprises in the industry in their research and development, communicate with customers and manufacturers on technical issues, assist in the collection and decomposition of customer requirements.

4. Collaborate with other departments to complete the yearly research tasks of the company, carry out product intellectual property planning and implementation.

Required qualifications:

1. Earned Master’s or PhD degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, automatic control or related fields.

2. Strong programming skills in Python, C++ and at least one of the open source frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras etc.; familiarity with algorithm models and strong ability to use classification, clustering, neural network models to solve problems in real world application scenarios.

3. Mastery of the basic theory for image classification, target inspection, image segmentation, multimodal data processing algorithms and experience in related projects;

4. Proactive, rigorous and detail-oriented work ethics; highly motivated with strong sense of responsibility; strong ability in innovative thinking, execution and communications.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Earned doctorate degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, automatic control or related fields.

2. Previous work experience in computer science, artificial intelligence, automatic control or related fields.

3. Experience in algorithm implementation for real application scenarios in the transit industry.

4. Experience in model transformation and algorithm transplantation

5. Experience in large-scale computer vision solutions or product development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
