Machine Learning Architect (1498066)

Location: Alphaville – Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil

Work Model: Hybrid — candidate must be able to work from the Equifax office in Alphaville, Barueri.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complex systems to train and run machine learning models using industry best practices
• Define projects and scope for engineering teams and guide them through completion
• Develop identify and report intellectual property through patent applications invention disclosures white papers and presentations
• Demonstrate effective respectful and honest communication when collaborating with colleagues including executives clients and peers from other companies and institutions
• Contribute to all phases of product development and delivery from analysis and design through successful deployment
• Support company initiatives and prioritize projects that align with its longterm technical vision
• Collaborate with product teams architects and others to understand the opportunities and limitations of AI machine learning and data engineering
• Participate in peer design and code reviews
• Show initiative in identifying and driving improvements and innovations that create value and advance the IT organization
• Raise peer performance through training mentoring and promotion of best practices may serve as a team lead
• Function Technology Development Client Services
• Responsible for the design development and implementation of short and longterm solutions for information technology needs through new and existing applications system architecture network systems and application infrastructure The role is often involved in modifying or adapting existing designs reviewing technology requirements and business processes and coding testing debugging and implementing software solutions These roles are typically projectbased and deliver technology changes within the business

• Big Data Analytics Deep understanding of the domain or industry in which machine learning solutions are applied enabling the business to develop impactful big data solutions
• Collaboration Engages internal stakeholders including Data Scientists business leaders Product Managers and executives to understand requirements and present technical solutions Collaborates with software engineering data engineering and business intelligence teams to integrate machine learning solutions into larger systems
• Cloud Computing Proficiency in data architecture design data strategy development data orchestration data integration ETL development data modeling parallel processing and performance optimization
• Application Development Programming Reviews code for quality performance and efficiency optimizes critical parts of the codebase and establishes Software Development Lifecycle best practices for the team
• Artificial Intelligence Designs scalable and maintainable machine learning architectures and frameworks for the organizations products and services Defines the technical vision and roadmap for the MLE team in alignment with organizational goals and industry trends
• Technical Leadership Leads and manages a team of Machine Learning Engineers Data Scientists or related roles sets clear goals provides guidance and fosters a collaborative and productive team environment
• Mathematics Reads and understands current machine learning research and applies innovative techniques to realworld problems

Experience

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience Masters degree preferred AIML coursework preferred
• 5 years of related work experience including proven experience leading a team of MLE DS SDE DevOps or related professionals
• Experience with endtoend ML model development from ideation through deployment ensuring best practices scalability and reliability
• Cloud certification strongly preferred
