Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

Skyld is a deeptech company that edits cybersecurity solutions for AI systems. We want to address trust, privacy, and intellectual property challenges raised by the massive use of AI algorithms. We are accelerated by UC. Berkeley and Station F are backed by top European investors.

We are looking for a machine learning engineer to deliver new features in our main product, in particular to adapt it to different quantization deployments.

Contract type

Permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Feature Development:

  Design and develop new features for our protection product, with a particular focus on supporting quantized AI models across a wide range of formats and runtimes, including TensorRT, TFLite Micro, and Axelera.

• Product Integration:

  Integrate and validate new features within the existing product to ensure compatibility, reliability, and performance.

• Technical Collaboration & Client Communication:

  Work closely with clients and the internal technical team to understand requirements, identify technical constraints, and deliver solutions tailored to their needs.

Qualifications

• Programming:

  Practical experience with Python and C/C++.

• Neural Networks & Quantization:

  Good understanding of neural networks, with a particular focus on model quantization techniques.

• AI Model Deployment:

  Knowledge of the end-to-end AI lifecycle, from model training to deployment in resource-constrained edge environments.

• Hardware Knowledge:

  Basic understanding of AI acceleration hardware, including NPUs, GPUs, and TPUs.

• Problem-Solving & Autonomy:

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach and the ability to work independently.

• Languages:

  Fluent in French and English.
