Profile

You’re a passionate Machine Learning Engineer ready to bring autonomy to life — whether in the air, on the road, or underwater. You have experience developing cutting-edge ML solutions like object detection, semantic segmentation, SLAM, or reinforcement learning, and you're confident working with multimodal sensor data (camera, lidar, radar). You're fluent in Python or C++, know your way around ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and enjoy collaborating across disciplines to turn algorithms into real-world applications. A solid background in computer vision, robotics, or motion planning is a big plus.

Your Role

  • Design and implement amazing machine learning solutions for our autonomous systems, including tasks like object detection, semantic segmentation, behavioral cloning or reinforcement learning
  • Develop algorithms for different modules like sensor fusion, perception, SLAM, environmental analysis, motion prediction or mission and motion planning
  • Work with multimodal Sensors: Cameras, Lidar, Radar, etc.
  • Interact with our cross functional engineering team and customers to identify opportunities and requirements
  • Directly apply machine learning models into real world products that will fly, drive or swim autonomously

At a minimum we’d like you to have

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of work or educational experience in machine learning or AI
  • 1 year of relevant work experience, including software development
  • Experience with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Python
  • Experience using machine learning libraries or platforms, e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow, Caffe, Theanos, Scikit-Learn or ML Lib for production
  • Machine learning and/or computer vision domain knowledge
  • Experience with SW Continuous Integration

It’s preferred if you have

  • MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or a related technical field
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas: computer vision, applied robotics, classification, pattern recognition, reinforcement learning
  • Experience with one or more of the basic robotic tasks like sensor fusion, perception, SLAM, environmental models, motion prediction, behavioral cloning, mission- and motion planning
