Machine Learning Scientist 5 - Localization

For our client, we are seeking a Machine Learning Scientist 5 - Localization to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.

In this role, you will help shape machine learning research and measurement strategies that improve localized experiences for a global member base. You will partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate causal inference and model insights into actionable roadmaps. This position requires strong analytical rigor, business judgment, and the ability to communicate technical findings across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to guide localization algorithm development
• Define and execute roadmaps for measuring and improving member impact
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scale findings
• Present research insights to various levels within the company
• Become a regional expert in localization data science and engineering

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in causal inference and machine learning applications
• Proficient in R, Python, SQL, and machine learning evaluation methods
• Strong business acumen and communication skills
• Experience leading research with complexity and technical rigor
• Comfortable working independently in ambiguous environments
