Machine Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bang Pa-In Factory, Thailand

Job Descriptions :

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machines and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Mitsubishi PLC systems (FX, Q, and iQ-R series).
• Program and modify PLC logic using GX Works2/3, GT Designer, and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
• Establish and maintain machine network communication using Ethernet, RS-485, and Modbus RTU/TCP.
• Integrate machines with IoT or SCADA platforms for real-time data monitoring and reporting.
• Diagnose and repair faults in machine control systems, including sensors, actuators, and communication lines.
• Interpret and update electrical schematics and machine wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with IT and Automation teams to design and maintain machine-to-machine (M2M) communication and data flow architecture.
• Maintain detailed documentation for all PLC programs, HMI configurations, and communication setups.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.F7

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance and automation.
• Proficiency in Mitsubishi PLC programming using Ladder Logic and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
• Hands-on experience with Modbus RTU/TCP communication protocols.
• Solid understanding of industrial network communication, including: Ethernet/IP ,RS-485/232,TCP/IP
• Network switches and IP addressing.
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms for machine monitoring and control.
• Ability to integrate and communicate with industrial devices such as sensors, drives, and remote I/O modules.
• Experience with IoT platforms such as Node-RED or MQTT-based systems.
• Familiarity with MELSEC communication protocols.
• Basic scripting/programming experience with Python or similar tools.
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
• Certification in Mitsubishi automation or other industrial control systems.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Team player with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Flexible and willing to work in shifts or during machine downtime.
