Machine Maintenance Supervisor

Work Location: Lukplub Factory

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of pharmaceutical production and packaging machines to ensure high equipment reliability and minimum downtime.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, control, and automation problems.
• Lead breakdown response, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR, and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Supervise and develop maintenance technicians through technical coaching and on-the-job training.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, Validation, suppliers, and overseas machine manufacturers regarding repairs, modifications, and technical support.
• Control critical spare parts, maintenance tools, technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance records.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety requirements, GMP requirements, and company procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Control Engineering or related field
• At least 7 years of direct experience in maintenance of automated production or packaging machinery, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, servo, sensors, PLC, HMI, and machine-control systems.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals in English.
• Experience working with European or American machine manufacturers and overseas technical support is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, machine reliability, and downtime reduction.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, team supervision, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Able to respond to urgent machine breakdowns outside normal working hours when required.
