Role:- Machine Maintenance Technician

Employment Type:- Permanent

Location:- Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan

Shift Timing:- 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:-

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment according to production needs.

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, first-line troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations.

• Monitor equipment performance, product quality, and output; maintain daily and shift records.

• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams on recovery, recurrence prevention, and continuous improvement.

• Follow safety, 5S, quality, and security requirements and support audit preparation.

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma or above.

• Japanese language proficiency sufficient to effectively negotiate and coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders

• At least 3 years of relevant manufacturing or equipment experience.

• Hands-on experience in equipment operation or maintenance.

• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

• A safety-focused, responsible, and collaborative approach. Preferred

• Maintenance of qualification or technical education.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or PC-controlled systems.

• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.

• Knowledge of how to use hand tools and measuring tools.

• Experience with RCA, FMEA, TPM, OEE, or 5S.

• Experience with card issuance or encoding equipment.
