Machine Operator - 12 Hour Shift

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Packaging Machine Operator to operate and monitor our bagging equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This position plays an important role in keeping production running efficiently while ensuring products are packaged accurately, safely, and according to quality standards.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing quality work while being a reliable member of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor bagging machines to ensure efficient, consistent production.
• Set up equipment and make routine adjustments as needed.
• Monitor product weight, bag seals, packaging quality, and overall machine performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report mechanical problems when necessary.
• Replenish packaging materials and keep the machine supplied during production.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete production paperwork and follow all operating procedures.
• Work closely with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production requirements.

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 4-Day Work Schedule

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
• Previous manufacturing, packaging, or machine operating experience is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

• Four 12-hour shifts per workweek.
• Available shift times are 4:00 –4:00 or 6:00 –6:00, depending on shift assignment.
• Must be comfortable working extended shifts in a manufacturing environment.
