THE MISSION:

The Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting the achievement of Settertix business objectives by:

• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
• Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

. Perform physical repairs to production machines.

A SNAPSHOT OF EXCITING THINGS YOU WILL DO:

• Operate all machines in accordance with Setterstix safety standards and product specification sheets. Machines comprise stick machine from paper loading to auto packer, the carton erector, printer, pointer.
• This would include understanding of all applicable data noted on specification sheets and what actions need to be taken to satisfy specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
• Assure product quality by performing regular Quality Control checks of stick characteristics while performing the machine technician function (length, diameter, stiffness, wax amount, etc.) according to SOP.
• Assure quick problem solving and execution to achieve Setterstix targets
• Complete all necessary paperwork used in the production process accurately.
• Achieve the tasks following the standards of the Setterstix Quality Management System, inclusive of BRC.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Process Technician.

You have done physical repairs to a production machine not just entered programing.

• Certification or credential in related fields from local career & technology center and/or local technical college is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills on the job.
• Problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Desire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environment.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to $22.39/ hr

Schedule: 10 Hour

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00AM- 4:30PM Monday- Thursday
