Get hands-on with advanced production machinery as a Skilled Machine Operator with Northwood Hygiene Products!

You will work with advanced machinery, adopting high standards and following critical processes to deliver excellent quality to the customer, ensuring safety comes first at all times!

We reward our colleagues with an attractive pay rate, excellent employee benefits including Company sick pay, early access to pay, life assurance, and many more lifestyle benefits.

In this full time Machine Operator role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our paper converting machines, performing checks and ensuring quality meets specifications.

Before you use our machinery, you’ll need to carry out pre-use lifting and equipment guarding checks to ensure Zero Harm!

Once safe to do so, you will operate our high speed converting machinery and conduct regular quality checks, changeovers, basic maintenance, and rectify defects/minor issues as best you can, or escalate to a Shift Engineer or Cell Leader/Shift Manager if additional support is required.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in Converting, Packaging, Foods, or a similar FMCG environment (beneficial)
