Machine Operator (Aux)

Duties

• Operate automated production and packaging machines.
• Set up and calibrate production machinery, equipment, and other manufacturing tools to optimize performance
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate machining and assembly
• Use hand tools, and basic math skills to measure parts accurately and verify quality during production
• Perform routine inspections of machinery to troubleshoot issues and maintain smooth operation
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to meet strict standards and specifications
• Assist with packaging finished products and prepare them for shipment while adhering to safety protocols in warehouse environments

Experience

• Proven experience operating production machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, mechanical principles, and machining processes
• Hands-on experience with machine operations, assembly work, and the use of hand tools in a production environment
• Warehouse experience including forklift operation is an asset
• Strong attention to detail with good basic math skills for precise measurements and quality assurance

Work schedule:

• Weekends coverage
• Weekday evenings as per production need.
• Mornings, Days, evenings and night shifts as per production need.
• Shift times may vary depending on business requirements.
