Machine Operator

Job Purpose:

• As a Machine Operator at MOMENTUM USA INC, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and productivity within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and output.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and address any mechanical issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and improve operational efficiencies.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet the required specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings and output levels.
• Assist in the training and development of junior operators to enhance team capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to address any production challenges or improvements needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on machines.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing setting.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
