Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and finished products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CAM programming equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy according to GD&T standards.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and following proper materials handling procedures.
• Use shop math and mechanical knowledge to adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for materials movement and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, tooling setup, and quality control inspections.
• Document machine performance data, production output, and quality checks accurately in manufacturing records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, or CNC machining centers in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading, fabrication processes, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CAD software like SolidWorks or similar tools.
• Ability to interpret shop math, GD&T specifications, and use precision measurement tools effectively.
• Experience with stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, CAM programming is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and safety standards in production environments.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one; experience with materials handling preferred.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with factory or manufacturing facility experience.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
• Good communication skills for interpreting technical drawings and collaborating within a team environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
