Machine Operator

Core Connect Recruiting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure our production processes run smoothly from start to finish. Responsibilities Include:

· Communicate with previous operator in regards to machine performance and production run during shift overlap

· Check and ensure proper tooling is at your work station

· obtain empty steel and/or plastic totes for finish product

· forward finish product to next operation

· checking parts on gauges

· check and ensure all fluid levels are full

· ensure all proper documentation is at work station

· perform SPC’s and in-process inspection, as instructed

· record daily occurrences in Log Book

· ensures work area is neat and orderly

· operate your work area as specified in Work Instructions and as laid out by the Production Supervisor

· continually checking and monitoring the process at your work center in order to ensure the highest quality of each part manufactured at your station is in accordance with specifications and inspection procedures

· comply with all applicable company policies and procedures

· ensure daily and weekly maintenance and other duties as assigned

Background and Qualifications:

· Minimum Grade 12 education, preferred.

· Capable of trouble shooting basic problems.

· 3 years related work experience, preferred.

· Basic Math skills.

· Basic Knowledge of SPC

· Capable of reading blueprints and gauges

· Positive attitude towards new ideas.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
