Machine Operator

We are looking for Machine Operator to join our team on a permanent contract.

The key responsibilities required for this role are:

• Set up and operate automated bottle-filling lines and labelling machinery.
• Monitor required key parameters – speed, continuous and efficient workflow, precise fill levels, capping tightness, accurate label placement, etc.
• Ensure all products are made to company specification
• Ensure pre-start checks are carried out on required equipment and report any non-conformances
• Complete required records and documentation
• Ensure working area and the lines are kept clean and tidy.
• Ensure all machinery/equipment is cleaned to a high standard.
• Ensure efficient and effective shift change over, by minimizing downtime, compliance to GMP, and completed documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene requirements.

Role-Specific Requirements

• Proven machine operator experience within manufacturing environment ideally food or drinks
• Attention to detail to spot instantly defects and issues
• Strong hand-eye coordination and responsiveness to run and control dynamic production lines.

This position has weekly rotation shifts of 7am-3pm & 3pm-11pm, Monday to Friday

From time to time weekend work is required which is paid at double rate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50-£13.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
