Machine Operator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team! Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CAM programming equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Handle materials and tools efficiently using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of machine operation, quality control checks, and production documentation for traceability.

Experience

• Proven experience operating CNC machining equipment such as CNC mills, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication tools including press brakes, stamping presses, tooling setups, and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, technical drawings interpretation, shop math, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments along with the ability to follow strict safety protocols.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or factory setting with exposure to quality control procedures is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
