2nd Shift Machine Operator

Monday-Friday 3:00 PM- 11:30 PM, $2.00/hour shift differential for any hours worked.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented 2nd shift Production Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various industrial machinery with precision and safety, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence.

This position is responsible for producing products that meet quality specifications by operating machines, handling products, testing product quality, and packaging finished products.

This position requires acceptable progress in learning production processes, equipment troubleshooting, equipment operation, and packaging procedures.

This entry-level position is developing mastery of equipment and processes. The operator possesses skills to work independently on assigned areas when trained and can perform basic troubleshooting in those areas of proficiency.

Duties

• Can operate all the machines in his/her assigned work area without assistance or with minimal assistance where developing proficiency
• Assists on set-up of equipment
• May assist with performing mechanical “Pre-ops” on equipment
• Cleans and monitors blenders
• Performs cleaning duties on equipment as assigned; including printers while machine is in operation
• Packages finished products
• Works effectively with other operating personnel in a unified effort to keep all production equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Complies with all safety, health, and environmental management-related policies and procedures.
• Participates in compan- sponsored safety programs and activities
• Reports to management those conditions or actions by employees or others that might create a hazard to themselves or others in the plant.
• Maintains knowledge of and follows the QC Specifications Sheets
• Completes all required quality checks as defined by the batch ticket
• Alert operators 2 & 3 of testing issues, correct with assistance
• Completes documentation in an accurate and timely manner
• Other related duties as assigned.

Secondary job accountabilities:

• Coordinate the removal of completed materials with the material handler.
• Performs required machine cleaning to departmental housekeeping standards.Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to machining tolerances and production documentation.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
