Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation, mechanical blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement will be essential to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including hydraulic shears, Punches, and Press Brakes.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts.
• Conduct precise measurements using measuring tapes, calipers, micrometers.
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery following established safety standards in production.
• Handle materials and tooling efficiently using forklifts and hand tools while adhering to proper materials handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging finished products, and ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sheet metal equipment such as hydraulic shears, Punches, and Press Brakes
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and shop math for quality assurance.
• Ability to read production documents and interpret factory specifications effectively.
• Experience with tooling setup, fabrication processes, assembly line operations, packaging procedures, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts.
• Knowledge of safety standards applicable in manufacturing environments to promote a safe working space for all team members.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
