Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Set up machines, load raw materials, and adjust machine parameters as required.
• Monitor machine operation and production processes to ensure consistent output.
• Inspect automotive parts during and after production to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Perform basic measurements using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify and report defective products, machine abnormalities, material issues, and process deviations.
• Conduct basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance activities as required.
• Perform machine changeovers, tool changes, and adjustments when necessary.
• Maintain required production output and meet daily production targets.
• Record production quantities, defects, downtime, machine conditions, and other required information accurately.
• Follow quality control procedures, work instructions, control plans, and inspection standards.
• Ensure proper handling, identification, and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished automotive parts.
• Follow all company rules on occupational health and safety, PPE, 5S, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area.
• Coordinate with Production Leaders, Quality Inspectors, Maintenance, and other departments regarding production and machine-related concerns.
• Stop the machine and immediately report unsafe conditions or serious equipment abnormalities.
• Support continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and machine efficiency.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, vocational graduate, or equivalent; technical training is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a machine operator in automotive or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic machine operation, production processes, and quality inspection.
• Able to use basic measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production standards.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
