Machine Operator

Essential Duties

• Operate various production machines will learning to set-up and troubleshoot each, including: grinders, beltsanders, presses, and basic CNC machines, etc.
• Load and unload high volumes of metal parts efficiently.  Move parts bins on and off pallets
• Visually inspect parts and learn to use basic inspection tools.
• Read and follow verbal and written instructions to identify and produce work.
• Accurately record production into computer
• Participate in continual improvement teams and activities
• Comply with all safety requirements including but not limited to good housekeeping
• Very reliable and punctual work attendance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude and skills.
• Experience in manufacturing ideal but any mechanically related experience with basic math skills may qualify
• Must be able to understand spoken and written English well; bilingual Spanish ideal

• Physically capable of lifting, turning, bending walking, standing, reaching
