Machine Operator

Department Reports To Location Production / Manufacturing Production Supervisor / Line Manager Al Quoz, Dubai ROLE PURPOSE We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced, high-performing, team-oriented environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up machinery for operation and start machinery, adjusting settings as needed to maintain and improve performance. Operate machinery and equipment used in the plant in accordance with instructions provided by the immediate supervisor. Operate roasting equipment to roast cocoa beans, developing the desired color and flavor profile and achieving the required reduction in moisture content. Operate machinery and equipment used to process cocoa beans into chocolate liquor. Understand and follow production formulas used in producing cocoa powder and sweet chocolate. Operate the tempering machine, fixing or replacing parts as required to carry out the process specified by each recipe. Tend the mill used to grind cracked cocoa nibs into liquid chocolate to the required consistency. Mix ingredients such as chocolate liquor, sugar, and powdered milk to produce sweet chocolate. Operate the refining machine to grind chocolate paste and achieve the required texture. Identify and troubleshoot machine issues, carrying out minor fixes where appropriate and informing management of maintenance issues that require attention. Perform periodic checks on equipment and address problems as they are detected. Follow reporting and record-keeping procedures, and report problems promptly to the supervisor. Comply with all safety and health regulations, including the factory's infectious disease safety protocols Clean machinery after use and maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS High School Certificate or GED. Previous machine-operating experience in a chocolate manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience. Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of production and plant processes. Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) across different units of measurement. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team. Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Proficiency with hand tools. Strong dexterity, safety awareness, organization, accuracy, and teamwork. Knowledge of Refiners, Ball Mills, and Conches is preferred and considered an advantage. WORKING ARRANGEMENTS Working days and shifts as assigned by the direct line manager.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
