Machine Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC spinning machines and related production equipment.
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to meet production requirements.
• Perform machine bed setup, die setup, tooling installation, and model configuration.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and work orders before production.
• Verify sheet materials and dimensions prior to processing.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and production verification checks.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and programming issues to minimize downtime.
• Assemble rough and finished components as required by production processes.
• Ensure products meet dimensional and quality specifications.
• Maintain production records, machine logs, and inspection reports.
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to achieve production targets.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report major equipment issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC spinning or metal-forming machines.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, editing, and machine setup.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Understanding of sheet metal processing and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with die setup, tooling alignment, and production verification.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in CNC machining, spinning, or metal fabrication operations.
• Experience with production planning and process optimization.
